I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. Psalm 18:2-8
The eternalGodis thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Deuteronomy 33:27 Arms, His sheltering Arms, expressing loving tenderness of our Father (My Heavenly Father) who’s in Heaven. Man, in his trouble and difficulty, needs nothing so much as a refuge. A place to hide in. A place where none and nothing can touch him. I am so glad He saves us sinners.
Almighty God, You have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen.

Let me be the more recent reminder to solve some great mysteries, to MOST of you; here on earth. David Buckle has believed in God’s active intending in our everyday life since 1973.
Prayer is everyone’s doorway, path, avenue where you, too, will see. IF that’s in your cards. By that I mean we all have destiny’s for a sign-laden adventure we’ve named “LIFE”. Faith FEW ARE CALLED; few RSVP. dig; or not; that choice: the most important event, in this humble opinion, rethink your position about.
THE EVERYDAY PERSON HAS THE RIGHT TO JOIN GOD IN THE BY AND BY.
EVENTUALLY YOU, ME INCLUDED, WILL PERISH. D I E… BE NO MORE.
This is my preconceived alerting all who pay attention, everyone and their dog.
David Buckle OFFERING HIS 1988 fave music BLOG. THIS IS MY ADVICE TO ALL YOU KID’S:
Why do we fear the wanderings of our mind? we do not
Why do we balk at the questions of our heart? questions are superb ingredient’s to growth. they do, sometimes, require other’s opinions; relish in those sort’s of quizzes – explore! %^]
As a little girl, I was full of questions. if there is a coed club, we might be charter members. JOY
What is heaven like? think satisfaction, the feeling received after a job well done; with sunlight.
What does God look like? this’s completely up to each one of us, keep seeking, you’ll see.
Why do I have so much acne? we all do; we grow out of it in time.
Who will I marry? why worry about that? you’re how old?
Is the Bible all true? it is for me, and my family.
Why do Christians think it’s wrong to curse? He has ears to hear; cheating when the teacher’s see?
What are the really bad curse words? all of them; like tiny sinning in relation to bigger, it’s still sin.
As a kid, they’re welcome. not everyone think’s that way, good that you do.
Questions are like beautiful gems that we grasp for as children. as leafs, worm, sunlight, a clue.
We want to know and learn and so we ask. “you are in the right club.”
We don’t settle for half-truths. “…”
Innocence is welcome in society. beware of advantage takers, they are quite common.
We’re new to the world so our choice of navigation isn’t laughed at. true, by those that matter.
But then you grow up and all of that changes. ‘m 50 in six, took me that long. learning all the time.
Suddenly I’m the one who is supposed to have all the answers. for who?
Innocence is mocked and even shamed. “not by those that matter.”
We’re supposed to have experience, to know. “…”
And I don’t. patience not only is a virtue, endurance is more important, sheeeit happens, deal.
My heart screams with the cry for answers , but questions now feel risky. by whose account?
Confidence in the world is a must, but a wandering soul? a ‘world’ isn’t what we want a part of.
Adults don’t question. “…” ‘ve tons of questions; those who just accept stuff, aren’t very smart.
Questions are for the ignorant, I am told. We’re supposed to follow the mold, WHOSE MOLD?
to fit in, to know and to know with confidence. was that a question? confidence in a ‘fit in’ society makes one part of whatever society they wish to conform into. be bold, be alone, don’t think you ever have to prove anything; apart from family, some teachers, band directors, God, yourself.
You are supposed to follow the pattern, to find that job with good money, to move out, to know the first and next and final steps. yes, we can live like that: the follower. that road might be good for sheeple; and that’s sufficient for themselves; don’t you want more out of the ten decades down here?
Anyone is accepted, or so I’m told. who said that? you were lied to.
Until I don’t fit your convictions, until we disagree, and then that policy doesn’t hold. ?
But guess what? oh goody.. what?
Questions = answers = 1+1 doesn’t always equal two; no sir, no sir…
Silence = the collapse of growth – “silence is golden – it’s when introverts grow better…”
Silence, it’s a little thing, and yet we don’t realize how damning it is. where’d that come from? “…”
We don’t realize how utterly and completely damning those hidden questions are that we’re too frightened to ask. ask away; or be like a turtle, recede into safety. who’s this ‘We?’
Questions are not the end, but the beginning. Questions won’t stunt my growth in adulthood
it excels me.
Questions do not mean we are lacking; but continually seeking to be stronger in our convictions then we were. now you’re getting it.
So questions, you will not be silenced. until answered…

We often think about giving Him our worries, our requests.
But do we think about giving Him what we’re lacking as well?
David Buckle, do you ever get up in the morning and just not want

One evening while sitting at home a had a very strong feeling that I should call an old friend that I had lost touch with. It was late in the evening and her number was in an old file at work. The feeling was so strong that I went to the office, found her number and called her. She was at the point of tears, she told me that the she was scheduled for an operation early the next day. She had to decide on one of two procedures. The safer one would mean cause a life change, the more dangerous one would allow her to lead a normal life if successful. Her family was there with her and all were urging her to have the safer procedure. She asked for my advise, I though for a while and answered that she should go with what her heart told her to do. She wanted the more dangerous procedure and after a few minutes, I told her that I had this very strong feeling that I had to talk to her that very moment and that I felt that it was so that I could support her in her choice. Had she being crying out to me, or was it a gentle touch that my help was needed. She had the more dangerous procedure, everything turned for the best.

Psalm 4:8 Rely on Me alone. Ask no other help. Pay all out in the Spirit of trust that more will come to meet your supply. Empty your vessels quickly; ensure Divine Supply. So much retained by you, so much the less will be gained from Me.
It is a Law of Divine Supply. 8-10-20 AD 2:34/34 To hold back, to retain, implies a fear of the future, a want of trust in Me. When you ask Me to save you from the sea of poverty and difficulty you must trust wholly to Me. If you do not, your prayer and faith are genuine, then I must first answer your prayer for help as a rescuer does that of a drowning man who is struggling to save himself. He renders him still more helpless and powerless until he is wholly at the will and mercy of the rescuer. So understand My leading.
Trust wholly. Trust completely. Empty your vessel. I will fill it. You ask both of you to understand Divine Supply. It is a most difficult lesson for My children to learn. So dependent have they become material supply they fail to understand. We must live as I tell you. Depend on Me. Now unto Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through
our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, authority, before all time and forever. __________ Amen.Jude 1:24

“It sounds implausible, but that’s how Into That Good Night, the modest but powerful new book by 46-year-old Lake Jackson resident Ron Rozelle, came to be published this August by Farrar, Straus, and Giroux, the home of such esteemed authors as Susan Sontag and Tom Wolfe. Ethan Nosowsky, Ron Rozelle’s editor, says it has been five years since the company last published a manuscript that came in over the transom. He had been “delighted and surprised,” he said, when he looked at the first two chapters of Into That Good Night. “Am I hallucinating?” he asked himself. When he read on, he says, he was “overtaken by the strength and the vision” of the book.”
sounds good to me. Mr. Ron Rozelle became my favorite teacher throughout a four years of Joy-tour: replete con wisdom shared by Mr. Herbert Torres, Mr. Rozelle and Mr. Bill Gottschalk, the conductor of my junior year band. A cross on a hillside beckons for our attention, it can bring to mind something that JesusChrist. A cross on a hillside beckons for our attention, it can bring to mind something that JesusChrist mentioned when He and His disciples launched out for a sail.
Let’s cross over to the other side,” were His words that didn’t fail.
Have you been on the side; those who have apprehensions, to reject that Christ is Lord or doubt God’s intentions? Look thoughtfully to the cross, for a strong message it bears– God wants you to cross over to knowing that He cares.
Any other “religion” hasn’t the cross’s personal touch– God sent HisSon to die for you because He loved you that much. There, Jesus made the sacrifice for your well-being and sins, so you could cross to the place where new life in Him begins.
Despite a storm, His words didn’t fail in that Biblical account recorded. They won’t fail in your destiny either, but you’ll be greatly rewarded, as you come under the shadow of the Almighty and cross to the other side. You’ll be so thankful you heeded the message: *the wonderful cross as your guide.
P. A. Oltrogge
“On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, ‘Let us cross over to the other side.’ Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?’
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’ And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, ‘Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!’”
Mark 4:35-41 (NKJV)
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears MyWord and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
John 5:24 (NIV)
“…that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

you know, the specific point in time is, has been, important to me. to remember where was my place, in time at any provided date, is a fail-safe reminder to what was happening inside the meager effort required to facilitate the period and that will required to activate said effort for the futuristic consideration of those who do pay attention. that instruction: ‘PAY ATTENTION‘ had always been a constant rule in my houses of the freedom of youth David had been blessed enough to enjoy, for nineteen years starting: 1973. 1973, there was a year. Always, from then to 1976, Alabama (Oxford) was my observant period. yup dotted with incidents of wonders and satisfaction: “i am free; to do whatever seems as the way to go at anytime; to see whatever event presents itself, no matter the distance in front of my shoes on my feet: converse, low-tops, blue if i remember right.” JUST THEN the life that did lie before me, in front of the coolness filling a body from the cool cement against a tanned belly/stomach on that front porch. yea, Oxford. third grade. the elementary school attended was in the Afro-American section of that tiny town. why, some of a more honest, and respectful group of friends David ever had was the part of that student body; the one where friends were made, kept, treasured like Dee. my best

Randy was the one who showed me the wax that he ‘n’ Dee used to keep their always groomed hairstyles of tight curls so evenly set to shape all the day long. it was then that made the choice of using that method of hair stuff David would use. the folks are from Trinidad, it was the type of music i grew to dig. reggae. “could you be love…” 964 abums for your ears

Drink deeply from this truth. God is able to keep you from falling! Does He want you living in fear? No! Just the opposite. “The Spirit we received does not make us slaves again to fear; it makes us children of God. With that Spirit we cry out, ‘Father.’ And the Spirit Himself joins with our spirits to say we are God’s children.”

Message summary: Today we will consider changes, challenges and choices. Listen to this message on your audio player.
“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are Which of course elicits a number of responses. Bunny then says,
“Today is the day God has given me the opportunity to tell you that Jesus loves you!”Yesterday he went along with us for our chaplain visits, especially looking for opportunities to minister to truck drivers. Our first company yesterday receives many containers from a port and Bunny is seeking ways to share God’s love with these drivers. At this company we have the opportunity to share a brief devotional message early each Tuesday morning so yesterday I asked Bunny to share. He shared that we all have changes, challenges and choices in life which prompted today’s study. Some 3,400 years ago Joshua gave his final challenge to the children of Israel. He had lived his life in steadfast commitment to God. He’s first mentioned in Scripture as the trusted commander of Moses’ army shortly after they crossed the Red Sea during the Exodus. He, along with Caleb, was one of only two spies to bring back a faith-filled report that essentially said, “With God’s help we can do it!”Joshua had faithfully served under Moses during the 40-year period in the wilderness and had led God’s people in the conquest for some 25 years. He’s now 110 years old and musters enough strength for a final challenge to faith and commitment that rings through the ages. The people were experiencing three C’s that people all though the ages have dealt with.
1) Changes – The Israelites had entered the promised land under Joshua’s leadership but now were about to experience a change. Things weren’t going to stay the same; there would soon be new leadership. We go through many changes throughout the course of our lives; some major, even life-transforming, others smaller. Most of us really don’t know what change we will encounter today, but great assurance can fill our hearts when we remember that God said “I the Lord do not change” (Malachi 3:6). He is a steady presence in our life, the anchor for our faith when all other ground is sinking sand. Thomas Chisolm reminds us that we can rely on our unchanging God in the hymn classic, Great Is Thy Faithfulness: “Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not. As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.”
2) Challenges – Changes often bring on challenges. Although the people had entered the promised land many challenges lay ahead for them. Just keep reading and you’ll see one challenge after the other! In our lives changes usually bring challenges as well and just like the Israelites we will receive blessing when we obey God.
Choices – Usually there are choices we must make as a result of changes and challenges, and that makes life hard. Today we will all make many, many choices. Life is just full of choices and decision-making, from tiny daily choices such as what brand of soap to purchase or what to eat for dinner to major, life altering decisions such as our choice for a mate or career. Many choices do not have moral consequences but many others are a choice between right and wrong. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12). However there is one fundamental choice we all share, based upon today’s portion of Scripture in the Old Testament. Joshua set the fundamental choice clearly before the people with these words, “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve”. In the context of Joshua’s challenge their fundamental choice was between serving the one true God and “the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.”In a broader sense the choice now and for every generation is whether we serve the one true God or “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Even those who practice the faith of atheism are essentially serving the god of this world. People then and now have this fundamental choice, for the one true God does not force people to love and serve Him.Joshua sets a great example for the people of his time and through all subsequent ages, including our own. Let us proclaim this day, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”
Be encouraged today,
Daily prayer: Father, You have drawn us with an everlasting love; You show us Your loving kindness day after day. Your bountiful provision gives to us material, physical and spiritual blessings that only a caring heavenly Father can give. But even though our cup overflows with Your goodness we face changes and challenges amidst our blessing. As we deal with the inevitable changes and the subsequent challenges that follow help us to make the life defining choice, like Joshua, and declare to all who will hear,

Electric Literature Moves to WordPress — Here’s How an Indie Publisher Thrives on the Open Web
Electric Literature launched 10 years ago in Brooklyn, New York, as a quarterly print journal with a mission to make literature more relevant, exciting, and inclusive. And today they’re celebrating the launch of a new website on WordPress, at electricliterature.com.
Surviving (and thriving) for ten years as an independent publisher is no small feat. Over the years the nonprofit organization has grown its online audience — with offerings like Recommended Reading and The Commuter — while expanding its membership of readers who help fund its work. The website is free to everyone and relies on the generosity of its community to donate to the site and support its mission.
How does an indie website make its business work in 2019? We talked with Electric Lit’s Executive Director Halimah Marcus about some of the lessons they’ve learned in the past 10 years.
Slow and Steady Growth Can Be a Very Good Thing Focus On Your Mission.
Ihagh G. T. Mar 25, 2019 👍👍👍… inspiring post, especially the longevity,10 years, which includes some other ingredients…I can see a lesson for passionate site owners: their peers ending business, especially when the initial dream was to stay in business without ever leaving. What might have halted them? Well, that would be a story for another day.
Certainly, longevity will bring about many many subscribers/membership. passionate people already have passion, so the watchwords I can perceive from your post are: “persistence, positivity and patience,” we will get there.
overbee Mar 26, 2019 Your mission is a very important one! Keep up the great work and thank you for the inspiration.
Sarahmente Mar 26, 2019 It’s fantastic to read that Electric Literature has been so successful while remaining true to its mission. A real inspiration to us all.

r3alizationz Jan 22, 2019 If I could do anything, I would start a group of orphanages, schools, and shelters for children. All over the world.
Lexygirl Lessons: Requited Therapy Jan 22, 2019 I would do therapy sessions in a different approach rather than the traditional red tape one. Maybe have a session with client while watching across the beach or a coffee shop rather than dreary clinic

I would write a song, one that would fill hearts with joy and inspire people to share that joy with everyone. I would play it in coffee shops and bars for coffee and beer. I would release it directly into the public domain so anyone could play it anywhere, and the only thing I would really want from it would be to be remembered after I am gone.

Just Like Joshua
Parents often repeat commands to their children for emphasis. In the first chapter of Joshua, he was told by God to “Be strong and courageous,” three times. God’s words in these verses seem to be a very matter-of-fact way of informing a willing man that the next steps must be taken, and success would not be a part of the equation if strength and courage were absent. The next steps were to obtain the land promised to the Israelites.
God’s marching orders held no promise that a supernatural feeling of courage would well up inside of Joshua’s soul. Nope. No “peace that passes understanding” feeling would signify it was time for Joshua to move. The words feel or feelings do not make an appearance in this chapter. God did not tell Joshua to feel strong and courageous. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous.
Did God promise His presence? Absolutely! But there was no promise that Joshua would not necessarily be shaking in his sandals as he carried out these sacred steps.

I’ve been camping out in this book for a couple of months and your words are timely. Especially, ” Courage is the strength to keep repeating to ourselves until we believe it that, “God is with me.” Thank you so much!

July 26, “Good”
In life there is doing “good” and being good; these things are not always found together.
A songwriter can write a good song without being a good person. A good person may be totally unable to write a good song. Go figure. Good works and goodness are not always companions.
“What Must I Do?”
Tradition calls him, “The Rich Young Ruler.” He had it all (to his way of thinking) but somewhere inside there was a void possessions and position and power did not fill. So He came to Jesus with this question:
“Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

Love and care and pray; never feel helpless to aid those you love. I am their help. As you obey Me and follow MyTeaching in your daily life, you will bring that help into operation.
So, if you desire to be used to save another, turn to your own life. As far as you can, make it all that it should be. Let your influence for Me extend ever further and further. Let Love be your balm for all ills, Power in which you will break down all barriers. It stands, too, for the Name of the God you love and serve. with His banner floating over you, go on in glad confidence to victory. Your task: to help, to strengthen, raise, heal. Only as you love will you do this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fnai9-4Fvcs
they tell me that the silly advertisements that David has NOTHING to do with may be vanquished from my sight by my addition to some program, or something tuned to that; but we apologize for not taking said advice. those folk need to understand:
WE @ think God is not involved with selling any service; or product. it is our effort to keep our boots clean of monetary mud. “There ‘aint nothing for free in this world and too damn little for a buck.” any ads that we deem too ‘internet spamish’ will be
taken down as possible. we do appreciate, very much as a matter of fact, se3veral ingredients to this world wide web that we dig: the abundance of opportunity toto be spreaders of joy; our joy is YOURS no goofy stuff. at least we don’t think of items as all that goofy.
Eggs are a breakfast staple and an essential part of everyday baking/cooking.
lt’s also one food that’ been highly debated for their health benefits. Some folk [weirdos] eat only egg whites while others love the yolk. So here is one post from nutrition expert, Matt on how healthy egg really are. For the complete list of health benefits, visit us at this informative page:
